The Story
Engineered for long-term reliability and streamlined installation, this forged-brass pressure balance rough-in valve with integrated diverter is designed to meet the demands of modern residential and commercial shower systems. Built with a solid valve body, ceramic disc cartridge, and integrated screwdriver stops, it provides stable temperature control, dependable anti-scald protection, and straightforward servicing.
The valve features a built-in diverter capable of supporting two- or three-function shower configurations, allowing independent operation of outlets such as a showerhead, tub spout, or hand shower. Its adaptable configuration makes it suitable for a wide range of layouts, including ADA-friendly setups where independent outlet control is required.
A flat-back valve body sits securely against cross braces, while the included plaster guard serves as both a rough-in guide and thin-wall support. The retaining nut incorporates flats to secure the cartridge or test cap without additional screws, enabling fast cartridge swaps and quick testing during installation. Installers can easily flush and pressure-test the system before trim installation using the integrated test-cap assembly.
With a wide installation depth range of 1-3/4" to 2-3/4", this rough-in accommodates a variety of wall thicknesses and construction conditions. Back-to-back installations are supported through built-in hot/cold reversal, and the adjustable hot limit stop provides added temperature control to prevent scalding.
Certified to meet or exceed ASSE 1016-P anti-scald requirements and IAPMO approved, this rough-in valve delivers dependable, code-compliant performance for new construction or remodel projects.
